Hello and welcome to Hound House Specialties, where we make great homemade dog treats & dog collars! All of our treats are homemade dog treats and include peanut butter treats, chicken treats, beef treats, cheese treats & more. We use real peanut butter, chicken, beef, and cheese in our treats and do not add preservatives, artificial flavor, sugars, salts or artificial colors. A breakdown of our dog treats
As mentioned before we have homemade dog treats including peanut butter dog treats, chicken treats, beef treats & cheese treats to name a few.
Peanut butter treats - These are one of our most popular dog treats. We combine, in a 'secret' way: Flour, peanut butter, water, baking soda & skim milk to create a dog treat that is full of peanut butter flavor and absent of additives! With only 5 simple ingredients, these dog treats make a wonderful snack for any dog. We are very careful on the peanut butter we choose for our treats. We do not use peanut butter that is high in fat or salt content. As humans we do not need extra fats & salts in our peanut butter or any other food so why should we add it to the dog treats? The answer is simple, we shouldn't. That is why we are picky about our peanut butter. Peanut butter is also a natural preservative and therefore allows the treats to have an extended shelf life without adding extra ingredients that are unnecessary in our dog's diet.
Cheese treats - Our cheese treats are our second most popular dog treats. These dog treats are made with real cheddar cheese! In fact, Flour, cheese, butter & egg...plus some 'secret' steps to making our treats to perfection is all that is added. 4 ingredients and these dog treats are bursting with cheese flavor that you can see! We do not add preservatives, extra sugars or salts. Because these cheese treats are exploding with cheese flavor there is no need to add anything extra to them. As the saying goes 'If it's not broke, don't fix it.' Well our treats are perfect and we have plenty of delighted customers, so there is nothing to fix.
Chicken treats - Mmmmm Yum, who doesn't love chicken? Well I know I love chicken, and my dogs love chicken, and my customers love chicken. But what type of chicken? Well I like real chicken! Not parts I can't identify or chickens that grow unnaturally. Dogs love real chicken too! Dogs stomachs are different then ours though. So our solution to making the perfect chicken treat - organic baby food! This options was the easiest and cheapest (to pass savings on to you) for us to create a great chicken treats that dogs love! The organic baby food we buy has chicken & water for ingredients. So you have no worries on what kind of chicken your dog is getting. Organic means no hormones that make the chicken grow unnaturally! Just as with our peanut butter and cheese treats, we do not add extra preservatives, sugars, salts and no artificial flavors or colors.
Beef treats - The all classic beef dog treats. Yum dog bone shape biscuits with...you guessed it...organic baby food! Yes we stick with the good methods. Of course this baby food also only has 2 ingredients; beef & water. And once again, organic means that the cows were not fed hormones! We also do not add any preservatives, sugars, salts, flavors or colors. Some companies add artificial colors or preservatives to their beef treats to give them a dark brown color. We let our natural beef do the coloring for us and leave out the junk you do not want to feed your dog!
Carob treats - For those of you who have chocolate loving dogs and do not (and should definitely never!) feed your dog chocolate, we have the solution for you! Carob! Carob is a chocolate substitute that is safe for dogs. It does not contain theobromine, the substance in chocolate that is toxic to animals. So we make great carob treats that is a perfect substitute for that chocolate loving hound!

Martingale collars - Martingale collars are a control dog collar that is used on mostly sighthounds and for training, that slip over the dog's neck. Please visit our
Product Info page for all the details of a martingale collar. All of our dog collars are made on an industrial sewing machine with a walking foot. All of of webbing, thread, fabrics & hardware are hand picked and only the best are used.
Side-release collars - These are dog collars that have a buckle and release from the hound's neck instead of slipping over their head. These dog collars are traditional and are easier for some owners and their dogs. We make these dog collars, just as we do our martingale collars, on an industrial sewing machine with a walking foot and using only the best materials. As with our martingale collars, the side release collars are just as customizable.
